Topic: E-Waste
By Dave Stach
We love to buy new tech stuff all the time, and we toss the old stuff.  But what happens to it?  Well, it turns out, out technological trash is starting to become a serious issue.  Dave Stach will discuss the issues involved with computer and electronic trash and ways to limit and/or end the production of it.  He talked about where it ends-up, how it's dealt with, and what's done with it at the end of its life-cycle.

Topic: Auto-It
By Kevin Aubart
AutoIt v3 is a freeware BASIC-like scripting language designed for automating the Windows GUI and general scripting.  It uses a combination of simulated keystrokes, mouse movement and window/control manipulation in order to automate tasks in a way not possible or reliable with other languages ( e.g. VBScript and SendKeys).  AutoIt is also very small, self-contained and will run on 95, 98, ME, NT4, 2000, XP, 2003 out of the box with no annoying "runtimes" required.  You can even make compiled executable scripts that can run without AutoIt being installed.  Kevin told us all about it.
